At Astricos, we provide detailed measurement instructions to help you select the ideal size for a comfortable, flawless look. Please follow this guide to measure accurately before placing your order.
How to Measure Your Body
For the most accurate results, use a soft, flexible measuring tape and hold it parallel to the floor over lightweight clothing:
- Height: Stand straight with feet together against a wall. Measure from the top of your head straight down to the floor.
- Bust / Chest: Wrap the tape around the fullest part of your chest or bust, keeping the tape snug but comfortable under your arms.
- Waist: Wrap the tape around your natural waistline, which is the narrowest part of your torso (typically just above the belly button).
- Hips: Stand with feet together and wrap the tape around the fullest, widest part of your hips and buttocks.
- Shoulder Width: Across your back, measure straight from the edge of one shoulder joint across to the edge of the opposite shoulder joint.
Pro Tip: Measure twice to double-check accuracy, or ask a friend to assist you. Always select the size that accommodates your largest measurement.
Measurement Tips & Recommendations
- Allow Room for Comfort: Costumes require mobility for stage performances, conventions, or dancing. Leave a slight margin for ease of movement.
- Between Sizes? If your body measurements fall between two standard sizes, we strongly recommend choosing the larger size for easier alterations or layering underneath.
- Manual Measurement Tolerance: Due to the handcrafted nature of our garments, please allow a slight variance of 1–3 cm (0.4–1.2 inches) in sizing.

Shipping & Returns Policy
Returns Policy
You may return most new, unopened, and unworn items within 30 days of delivery for a full refund. We will also cover the return shipping costs if the return is a result of our error (e.g., you received an incorrect size, wrong item, or defective garment).
Refund Processing Time:
You should expect to receive your refund within 2 to 4 weeks of handing your package over to the return carrier. In many cases, refunds are processed much faster. This timeframe includes:
- Transit time for us to receive your return from the shipper (5 to 10 business days).
- Time required for our quality team to inspect and process your return once received (3 to 5 business days).
- Time required for your financial institution/bank to process our refund request (5 to 10 business days).
How to Initiate a Return:
If you need to return an item, simply log into your account, view the order using the "Complete Orders" link under the My Account menu, and click the Return Item(s) button. Alternatively, you can directly contact our support team at support@astricos.com with your order number. We will notify you via email once your return has been received and processed.
Shipping Policy
We offer worldwide shipping to virtually any destination across the globe. Please note that certain regulatory or logistical restrictions may apply to specific international destinations.
Delivery Estimates:
When you place an order, estimated shipping and delivery dates will be calculated based on item availability and your selected courier service (e.g., Standard Express, DHL, FedEx). Real-time shipping date estimates will be displayed during checkout.
Weight-Based Rates:
Shipping fees for many items are weight-based. Product weights can be found on their respective product detail pages. In accordance with carrier guidelines, all package weights will be rounded up to the next full pound.

Cancelation
Cancellation Policy
At Astricos, many of our garments, historical gowns, and cosplay costumes are custom-tailored or made-to-order. We understand that plans can change, and we strive to accommodate order cancellations wherever possible. Please review our detailed cancellation terms below before submitting your request.
1. General Cancellation Rules
- Standard stock orders can be canceled free of charge prior to shipment.
- Once an order has been shipped and handed over to the logistics carrier, it cannot be canceled and must be processed under our Return Policy upon arrival.
2. Made-to-Order & Category-Specific Cancellation Windows
Because customized apparel involves immediate fabric cutting and tailoring, time-sensitive cancellation policies apply upon receiving your payment confirmation:
Category A: Special Category Items & Lolita Fashion
- Within 24 Hours of Payment: Eligible for a 100% FULL REFUND.
- Beyond 24 Hours: Non-refundable once tailored production has begun.
Category B: Made-to-Order Costumes & Specialty Gowns
(Includes Victorian Dresses, Marie Antoinette Gowns, Renaissance & Medieval Dresses, Bustle Dresses, Civil War Dresses, Princess Costumes, Petticoats, and Men's Tailored Blazers)
- Within 24 Hours of Payment: 100% FULL REFUND.
- 24 to 72 Hours after Payment: Partial refund including 100% shipping fee + 50% of the product price (50% retained as fabric/restocking fee).
- After 72 Hours: Only the shipping costs will be refunded. Product costs are non-refundable as cutting/stitching is underway.
3. How to Request an Order Cancellation
- Self-Service Request: Log into your account at Astricos.com, go to "My Orders", select the order, and click "Request Cancellation".
- Email Request: If you checked out as a guest, immediately email support@astricos.com with your Order Number and the subject line "Urgent Order Cancellation Request".
Note: The cancellation timeframe is calculated from the exact timestamp when your "Payment Confirmation" email is generated.
